Get to know Urologist Dr. James A. Sylora, who serves patients in Evergreen Park, Illinois.

Dr. Sylora is a board-certified urologist with expertise in minimally invasive techniques such as robotic and laparoscopic surgery. He is the President of the Associated Urological Specialists, seeing patients at the office in Evergreen Park, Illinois. He has been in practice since 1995 when he joined his father, Dr. Herme Sylora. Some of the procedures that he performs include: robotic/laparoscopic – single port and multi-port (da Vinci), stone therapy, BPH therapy, ED therapy, high-intensity focused ultrasound for prostate cancer, low-intensity shockwave therapy for ED, electromagnetic pelvic floor therapy for incontinence, and pelvic floor rejuvenation – TempSure. A South Side Chicago native, Dr. Sylora earned his medical degree from the Stritch School of Medicine at Loyola University Chicago in 1989. He then went on to perform his internship and residency in urology at M Health Fairview University of Minnesota Medical Center, where he served as Chief Resident. Licensed to practice medicine in Illinois, he is board-certified in urology by the American Board of Urology (ABU).
